High School Career
Clement went to high school in New Jersey. He was not just active at playing football but also on track and field activities as well. At some point, he was named the 17th best running back in his class by a leading football site. His emerging talents and passion had become evident. At first, he was supposed to head to Pittsburgh for university. Later he changed his mind and enrolled at Wisconsin. In the track, he ran 100 meters to post a personal best time of 11.76 seconds. His athletic prowess would later help him navigate his way to the top leagues.
College Career
Clement was inaugurated to the bigger games by playing 12 games as freshman. In 2013 and 2014, he played as a back up to Melvin Gordon. In his second year, he managed 949 rushing yards with nine touchdowns. In total, he had 147 carries. The 2015 season saw him featured as a running back for the university when Gordon left for the NFL draft. At this point, he positioned himself not as a back up but the main man. His experience played a pivotal role as he sparked his ability to deliver in the games.
Just as he was about to take on Alabama in the first season of the game, Clement suffered a groin injury. At this point, he took on a more passive role, missing a total of two games. He did not battle Miami and Troy and later, it was announced that he would undergo surgery for a sports hernia. It became apparent that his injury needed specialized medical care. In late September, Clement headed to Munich, Germany where his surgery was performed by a well-known specialist. He was supposed to feature in a game on November 7, the same year.
NFL Career
After Clement had made a name for himself as formidable Badgers running back for four years, he entered the NFL. In May 2017, Clement joined the Philadelphia Eagles in the position of an un-drafted free agent. He started off his professional career by meeting the Redskins of Washington. Later, he would battle the New York Giants and the Broncos. Upon meeting Denver, Clement was able achieve 51 yards with 12 rushes. He also recorded two rushing touchdowns.
